Eleven Useful Sleep Tips For Better Snoozing
- Try to relax before bedtime. You can take a walk or read a newspaper. But don't do anything stressful.
- Do paperwork or other work-related activities early in the evening.
- Make sure your bedroom is quiet.
- If your bedroom is noisy and you can't correct it, wear earplugs.
- Think of places where you slept like a log in the past and try to copy those places by providing a similar atmosphere and set-up in your current sleeping room.
- Check the medicines you're taking. If they're nervous system stimulants, you've just discovered one reason why you're not sleeping properly.
- Make sure your bedroom is well-ventilated but not too cold.
- Don't use too many or too few blankets.
- Keep your feet free and unrestricted -- in other words, don't tuck your sheets in at the bottom of the bed.
- Your mattress should not sag.
- Try a soothing relaxation or sleep-inducing CD like my amazing NightTrain Sleep System.

I notice that many of your recipies specify butter or dairy butter in quite large quantities and I am wondering whether you have heard of trans fats and the alleged harm they may do by adding to the deposits in our arteries. Should products containing trans fats be avoided or minimised in the foods we eat?
