Size Does Matter: What Women Are Really Seeing When They Look at You

by Leah Day

You want the lowdown of what your wife or girlfriend is really thinking when you're up close and personal?

I can guarantee that it's not any of the following:

  • "Gosh, he's such a good kisser."

  • "Dinner tonight was so amazing!"

  • "Please don't let this night end."

Sorry to bust your bubble, but if your girlfriend or wife isn't blind and her eyes are less than two inches from your face, chances are she's wondering something about your skin.

Unfortunately skin care is not a strong suit for most guys, so it's pretty likely that your lady love isn't thinking nice thoughts.

Instead she's plotting.

  • "How long will it take before I can move in on his skin care routine?"

  • "Can I really marry a man that has that many blackheads?"

  • "Oh my God, his enlarged pores are disgusting!"

My sister said something very insightful the other day to my father: "Dad, you've gotta trim your ear hair! This would totally be a deal breaker for me."

True, my sister was being pretty extreme by saying she wouldn't marry a man if his ear hair was too long, but she's not the only woman looking for a guy who takes care of his appearance.

Taking care of your skin isn't that difficult and the benefits far outweigh the effort it takes to wash your face twice a day.

In less than two minutes, you can clean, exfoliate, tone, and moisturize your skin so it looks clear and clean and feels great. You might not know what each of these things mean, so here's the deal:

  • Clean - Cleansing your skin is pretty essential. Otherwise dirt, bacteria, and oil all build up to create a waxy, greasy mess that's about as appealing as dry rot.

  • Exfoliate - This is an extra step that can really make a big difference. Two to three times a week, use an exfoliating scrub to lighten your skin, eliminate dead skin cells, and freshen your whole appearance.

  • Tone - Most people don't tone their skin and miss out on the huge benefits that it brings. Toning brings your skin back to its normal pH balance. Apart from making your skin more resistant to blemishes, toning also stimulates the growth of new skin cells, which makes your skin look younger.

  • Moisturize - It doesn't matter if you have the oiliest skin on the planet, you will always need to moisturize. Moisturizer is to your skin like water is for your body - it keeps your skin healthy and able to ward off blemishes and blackheads.

Washing your face doesn't mean you're less manly or that you're going to smell feminine. Rather than work against you, keeping clear skin can actually work in your favor. Clear, clean skin tells people that you care about your appearance and that you're willing to go the extra mile to appear your best.

But most guys don't know the first thing about good skin care.

If your parents are like most parents, you were never taught how to take care of your skin, what skin type you are, or what products to use.

If you'd like to have personal help and advice to know what would be the best for your skin, click here for a free skin care consultation. I'll provide you with the answers you need!

You never know: better skin could lead to a better job, higher pay raises, and a very happy lady companion when all is said and done.

Unfortunately, not all men are willing to go the extra mile for their girlfriends or wives.

While bad skin isn't a divorceable offense for most women, it certainly isn't going to endear you to anyone of the opposite sex.

So next time you're up close and personal with your girl - you've got to ask yourself:

Is she really looking at me or is she counting my enlarged pores?
